Great Eastern Cutlery, Tidioute Cutlery, & Northfield Knives

As of right now there are several patterns produced by Great Eastern Cutlery for those desiring 80 year old quality.  The Great Eastern Pioneer #23 model, made with the Great Eastern Cutlery, Tidioute Cutlery, and Northfield Knives branding.  A 4 1/2" jumbo trapper model with 1095 carbon blades, pinned shields, nickle silver bolsters, and brass liners.  The Great Eastern Scout #73 is 3 3/4" with all the same components as the Pioneer.  Now, 4 1/8" stockman and muskrat patterns, that are very heavy duty.  To top it all off, Great Eastern is coming up with very nice combinations of handle slabs.  Great jigging and coloring, which all seem to have a story of their own.  Don't try one if you don't want to own everything Great Eastern Cutlery makes, as they are proving to be very addictive....

Great Eastern Cutlery has introduced a new twist to help enhance the collectibility of their products in 2008.  Great Eastern will now only serialize the first 25 or 50 of each run; leaving the rest to be un-serialized and sell at a little lower price point.

As Great Eastern Cutlery has become more popular, the smaller dealers have increased dramatically.  Please take a couple of things into consideration when buying a GEC knife.  First:  The factory sets the minimum pricing, but CollectorKnives.Net will not be undersold.  Second:  We are the oldest & largest independent distributor and will have the largest selection of any given model and usually the largest stock in any specific knife.  We don't cherry pick for our best customers - if a knife is not something we would want to give a friend, we set it back for our flea market or eBay friends to move.  So, no last pickle in the barrel from us!  Finally: Every customer has the same opportunity at first pick as our largest customers.  If you are the first Early Bird to pick up a stag or primitive bone knife; you WILL be the first one to pick yours out!  Many of the smaller dealers are simply dealers to buy themselves one of each and one or two to sell - thus the customer gets what is left over...
We are literally a mom and pop shop.  Me, my wife, 11 year old son and 8 year old daughter managing the store out of our home.  Always remember:  By collectors - For collectors.
