New program: Due to increasing demand for longer term GEC notification / reservation of products, we are going to provide your ability to put your name on a specific product way ahead of time. We will not accept any payment up front because production schedules and our allotment of any particular product change so much. But we will guarantee early reservers availability of any item they reserve via the program, to the limits of our ability. Also, early reservers will be notified as soon as the product is placed in the Early Bird section for purchase. In the event that there are more reserver's than expected items to be delivered we will start offering the items to the Early Reserve holders in the order they got on the list. At that point, the early reserver will have 24 hours to claim their reservation or we will open up stock to other interested parties. Thus, this is a way to insure that not only is your name on items way before orders are placed; but to also get an early warning on Early Birds to insure first picks on stag and primitive bone. This list, unless there are more reservers than items, has no bearing on what order you can purchase the item as all Early Reserve holders will get notified of availabilty at the same time. And you do not have to complete the purchase if you have changed your mind for any reason.
Note: In the event that there are more Early Reserver's than eventual items to be delivered; we will notify you once the factory reports our allotment to us. Early Reserving is a means to allow us the best opportunity to provide you with the desired product. But there will be instances where there simply are not enough of the product. This is why we do not accept payment at this stage. But we do guarantee that the integrity of the order of Early Reservation will stay intact; this is not a good old boy system where a favored customer will leapfrog you once the items quantities are announced.
Prototypes: GEC makes one prototype per variation. These prototypes generally run about double the cost of the standard knife. If you want a prototype of any knife on this list, just let me know and I can try to get it for you. I really need you to consider yourself obligated to the prototypes reservation though.
